Tools for Developing a
Robust Online Society

The people
behind Ageless Learner
have long been interested in
connecting people worldwide through a
series of services and online communities (interrelated societies) that
mirror the way people work together in the real world. Services and societies
can interoperate based on new industry standard protocols for cross-system
secure information sharing. The systems themselves use an open source model
that puts ownership into the hands of the individuals who participate. We had
begun with a specific initiative called
Imergence and now find the
work is going on in so many places its unnecessary to keep it all in one place.
The
following is a list of links to websites that have caught our attention for
reasons listed below. This list is a work in progress, and shouldn't be
interpreted to be a thorough list of any topics named. We use this to keep track
of trends, get ideas, and watch what is happening related to our work.
Note: items
added within the last calendar month marked new
